December at Zion
Jesus The King is Coming! Join us at Zion Lutheran Church in Vassar, Kansas as we prepare our hearts and remember the birth of the Lord of lords and King of kings, Jesus Christ at Christmas. Advent and Christmas 2024 and the whole month of December is full of opportunities for worship and reflection, including:
- Regular Sunday Services at 9 am and Bible Classes at 10:30 am
- Wednesday Advent Meal followed by shorter Worship Services
- Christmas Eve Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols at 7 pm
- 10 am Service on Christmas Day
- Online Advent Devotions
- Friendship Sunday - December 29th is a HymnFest by Request event at 9 am
- All Services Broadcast LIVE on Facebook and YouTube, Boxcast.tv and this website.
Savior of the Nations, Come
We invite you to come and experience the beautiful decorations and candles, welcoming smiles and tasty meals. Hear the sounds of choirs and children’s voices singing God’s praises. Know God’s love for you as Jesus reveals Himself to you through His Word. Remember the true meaning of Christmas — a child born long ago who is “Immanuel,” God With Us — an infant who would bring God’s mercy, hope and peace to our desperate world.
